Hoffman Hills-Wetland trail adventure

So Tim and I promised to both go to the wetland trails at Hoffman Hills after a rejection from Grant on his birthday. We decided to get going early on and pack lunches. So we after driving to our next adventure we started down the trail. To say the wetland trail was a disappointment would be a major understatement. We walked for ten minutes and found ourselves at the parking lot again. After making several comments on our failure of a good hike we decided to eat lunch and head up to the actual Hoffman Trails.

all in all it was decided that it was a good hike minus the flooded parts, ticks and Tim falling.

Adventure # 1: Operation Cherry Pie

This is the story of Tim Borge and Sasha Dupay. Two friends, one summer, a lot of crazy adventures. So Tim and Sasha start their summer adventures with pie-making. Tim casual suggested making pie and after one nasty fall on a long board later Sasha agreed to the pie making festivities. When Sasha arrived at the home of Tim she found him in the kitchen already picking out a suitable pie for the two to make, "how do you feel about apple pie?" Tim asked, "no you already made apple we need to make something new" Sasha replied. After a bantering over which pie flavor they finally settled on cherry.

So after purchasing ingriedents and Tim yelling "let's get popping on the pie" we commenced the making of the pie. After a shortwhile and lots of bickering we had the pie in the oven.

So the result was something resembling closer to soup than pie and we added way to much almond extract thinking that recipe was jipping us. But after the failed attempt at a pictureisqe cherry pie we learned that among the succeses (Tim's Apple pies) there are failures to be had as well. I learned that refridgerating it makes it less liquidy as well.
